A $50 Smartphone?
Aug 31st
By: Colby Aley
Verizon Wireless has lowered the price of the RIM Blackberry Storm from $149.99 to $49.99. In my opinion $50 is really inexpensive for a smartphone and it’s not just any smartphone, its a Blackberry!
Do you think that this means that the BB Storm 2 will be coming out anytime soon and Verizon is just trying to get rid of the old Storms? However, an official release date for the Blackberry Storm 2 is not set yet.
If you do not have a smartphone yet and are on the Verizon network then I think that a $50 smartphone would be More >

Have you ever wanted to start a blog? Do you have a blog?
As you may know, I recently started a blog which just so happens to be the blog that you’re reading right now. I thought I would share some of my tips with you for if you ever want to start a blog.
Tip #1: Pick a good name!
When I first started my blog, I made a mistake. When I created the name for my blog I picked a name but the name that I picked was already taken as a domain so when the time came that More >
Have you bought Snow leopard yet?
Aug 28th
By: Colby Aley
Here are a few questions that I have for all you Mac users:
Have you bought your copy of Snow leopard yet? How it it? I have heard that some people ate getting more than 7GB back that Apple said they would. How much storage space has Snow leopard given you back? Have you noticed any bugs or problems in Snow Leopard? How much faster is it?
Lastly, is it worth the $29?
Please, either leave a comment or email me at Colby@cpaleytech.com with your response!
Samsung Gravity 2; better than the first?
Aug 27th
This is a guest post by Aqual Al:
The Samsung Gravity 2 for T-Mobile is a full keyboard phone, just like the original Samsung Gravity. The only difference actually is that the Samsung Gravity 2 has a 2 megapixel camera which is an upgrade from the 1.3 megapixel camera on the original Samsung Gravity. The Gravity 2 also has a built in GPS and supports 3G network speeds. Those are the only upgrades Samsung made on the Gravity but in my opinion, they made a downgrade on the look.
I think that the original Samsung Gravity had a better look and color selection. More >
Microsoft lowers Xbox 360 prices
Aug 27th
By: Colby Aley
Microsoft today announced that they will be lowering the prices of the Xbox 360.
Xbox 360 Arcade: Still, $199.99
Xbox 360 Pro: lowered by $50 to $249.99
Xbox 360 Elite: lowered by $100 to $299.99
These new prices are effective 8/28/09.
What do you think of the lowered prices? If you have not bought an Xbox 360 already will this convince you to buy one?
UPDATE: The Xbox 360 Pro will be discontinued and is being sold for $250 while supplies last. While the price of the Elite has been dropped, it no longer comes with a HD cable.
More >$199 For iPhone 3G S? Seriously?
Aug 27th
This is a guest post by Aqual Al:
Right now Apple and AT&T are asking $199 for the iPhone 3G S. The real question is, is it really worth the money to get the 3G S instead of the 3G? When you compare the 3G and the 3G S you start to think, what is the point of buying a 3G S?
Well thats what I am thinking. First of all becuase the only difference between the two is that the 3G S has a 3.2 megapixel camera w/video camera instead of just a 2.0 megapixel camera with no video camera and More >
