A downside to URL shorteners?
Sep 30th
URL shorteners have played a large roll in making Twitter awesome because without them you would not be able to post most links on Twitter because of the 140 character limit. My favorite URL shortener is Bit.ly because of the super short URLs and the way that it counts how many people click your links.
The only downside to URL shorteners is that you do not know where the links are going to take you. Even if someone says that it is going to take to you their article about cooking it may take you to a site that downloads viruses More >

Late 2009 Apple predictions
Sep 27th
We all know that some time soon Apple is going to hold an event and update its product line for the holiday season. Here are some of the updates that I expect Apple to make at the predicted event.

For the Macbook Pros I expect only a price More >

To enable MMS on your AT&T iPhone just plug your iPhone 3G or 3G S into iTunes and click “check for update”. After downloading the new carrier settings, restart your iPhone and you will have MMS!
It has been working quite well for me on my iPhone 3G but it does take a few minutes to get picture messages sent. Remember, MMS only works on iPhone 3G and 3G S…

Sep 24th
Nintendo has officially announced that they are going to be lowering the price of their Wii gaming console to $199.99. The price drop will become effective on Sunday the 27th. I think that this is a nice price drop and now the Wii is going to be competing head-on with the Xbox 360 Arcade, also priced at $199.
What do you think? Do you have a Wii? If not, why?

Google has announced on the official Gmail blog that push Gmail is going to now be supported in Gmail Sync for iPhone and WinMo. Google Sync is still in beta and so there are going to be bugs. I have tested the mail sync on my iPhone and it is not even loading my mail correctly so I switched back to IMAP until the bugs clear up. I still sync my contacts and calendar on my iPhone with Google Sync and it is working great. I am going to be waiting a day or two then i will try push More >
