Twitter has become my way of learning about what the people that inspire me have to say. For example, I will follow someone and then whenever they add a new blog post they will post it to twitter and I usually read it. I do this for my blog and twitter too. Why? Because when you post something to twitter, lets say a link to your new blog post, it will show up on the page of each of your followers showing them your tweet, theoretically saying “look at my blog post”.

I use a website called TwitterFeed that will take the RSS feed of my blog and transfer it to a tweet then post it to twitter with the title of the post and a bit.ly link to view it. This saves me a lot of time, copying and pasting the title and URL into twitter. Another cool feature is that it will tell you how many people have clicked on your link and have seen your post.

Some people use twitter for what twitter is made to be used for and that is telling your friends and family what you are doing. My previous twitter account was used for doing this, telling people, like my parents and friends what I am currently doing. When I started What’s Up With Tech and CPAley Tech Blog I created a new Twitter account.
