iPhone OS 4: My Opinion

Yesterday Apple announced iPhone OS 4 at their headquarters in Cupertino Calif. This new OS update includes many great features including multitasking, enhanced mail, customizable home screen wallpaper, etc.. In this post I will be expressing my thoughts and opinions on OS 4.
Multitasking
This is big. Yes, I know, Apple isn’t the first to announce multitasking but this just could kill android and maybe even WebOS. Both theese operating systems are heavilly based on multitasking. Palm and Google are going to have to mix it up a bit before everyone moves over to iPhone when OS 4 comes.

Will Windows 7 live up to all the hype?

With Winodws 7 just right around the corner I’m wondering if it is going to live up to all the hype. People have said all this good stuff about windows 7 but is it really that good? I have not tried out the beta version yet but I look forward to getting to use Win 7 it when it comes out.

Will businesses switch to Windows 7?

It seems that just about NO businesses use Vista. I’m not surprised. Now, I’m not going to start crying about how bad Vista is neither am I going to tell you that Vista is awesome but personally I just don’t like Windows Vista that much. I don’t think that businesses do either. Maybe it is because it makes their computers “slow” or maybe it is because it is just plain ugly but XP just seems to be the best Microsoft OS these days. Will businesses switch to Windows 7 when it comes out?

Have you bought Snow leopard yet?

Here are a few questions that I have for all you Mac users:
Have you bought your copy of Snow leopard yet? How it it? I have heard that some people ate getting more than 7GB back that Apple said they would. How much storage space has Snow leopard given you back? Have you noticed any bugs or problems in Snow Leopard? How much faster is it?
Lastly, is it worth the $29?

Apple announces Snow Leopard's release date!

Snow Leopard, Apple’s latest and greatest operating system is, according to Apple, going to become available on August 28th. You can pre order it however, and have it arrive at your mailbox on Aug. 28th.
When you go to the pre order page on apples website you will see the cover of the box with some text:

Mac vs. PC

If you’re reading this post you probably have a favorite: mac or PC? What operating system are you running, OS X, Vista, XP, or maybe your running Linux? What is your favorite and are you running your favorite operating system, if not why? Is it because OS X only is available to Macs (legally) and you do not like the hardware or company?

Are Macs overpriced?

Do you think that Apple’s computers are overpriced? If you ask me, the answers no. Why? Because when you buy a Mac you are paying for something that is going to probably last you 3-4 years. You are also paying for what I think is the best operating system, OS X. When you buy a Windows machine you are paying for some cheap movie editing programs like windows movie maker but when you buy a Mac you get iLife 09 which includes iMovie, Garage Band, iPhoto and iWeb.
